The TCT 2016 programme covered two stages on the show floor with an eclectic mix of speakers across the two day event.

Main Stage

Since 1996 the TCT Conference has been an annual celebration of inspiration and innovation in product development, engineering and manufacturing. Tracking ahead of the mainstream, it presents applications and insights from some of the worlds best.

In the 20 years since the first TCT conference took place, the stage has been graced by the leading lights of the industry including industrialists, academics, consultants and users. These free-to-attend sessions are a must see for anyone interested in the current and future methods of making. This year’s speaker line up cuts across a wide range of industries and includes real world applications from Caterpillar, Alstom, 3Mand leading research institutions from across the globe.

TECH STAGE

Seminar Session Presented by Graham Tromans

The Tech Stage at TCT is a forum for learning and education. Over the two days of the event you can get a primer on additive manufacturing, hear from the latest start-ups and get the low down on the latest software and inspection innovations.  

Software Insights This exciting session draws together emerging trends and new technology from key users and providers, ensuring attendees leave with insights into software for design; prototyping and visualisation; file manipulation and management; and machine/process management. 

Inspex @ TCT The Inspex seminar session will highlight the latest technology and real-world applications in metrology and inspection hardware, software and services.

Beginners Guide to Additive Manufacturing Presented by leading expert Graham Tromans, this seminar gives newcomers to “additive” technologies the opportunity to get up to speed as fast as possible. If you are new to these technologies and want to get the lowdown on what, how and why, then register for this session.

Start Up Pitch Competition Companies exhibiting within the Start-Up Zone will present a short, sharp five minute presentation of their product or service on the technical stage.

An esteemed judging panel will then vote for the best new technology presented at the event.
